Speaking Tuesday in the House of Representatives, Minister of Finance and the Public Service, Dr Nigel Clarke said some 3 billion Jamaican dollars was set aside in the 2021/22 budget for the initiatives

Less than 10 percent of the population has received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, despite the major vaccination drives being held by the health ministry. That revelation from Health and Wellness Minister Dr Christopher Tufton, as he addressed the ministry’s COVID 19 virtual conversation. The Chief Medical Officer Dr Jaqueline Bissasor-Mckenzie also gave an update on the COVID 19 clinical data.
