JISTV | Ocean Panel Launch - Handover of Blue Papers
@Dec 10 2020 01:58 PM
True sustainability has long been elusive for the ocean. It’s time to act. As we head into a new year and pivotal decade, the Ocean Panel’s 14 serving world leaders have united to launch a new ocean action agenda on 2 December. Follow the global launch and join the conversation via @OceanPanel on Twitter using #SustainableOceanEconomy.
Beginning 3 December (local time), Ocean Panel countries will host a series of national launch events to signify and build global political will around their commitments. Jamaica will be sharing its country-specific plans and discussing priority actions to transform how the world can protect and use the ocean and ultimately sustainably manage humanity’s impacts on it. We will also spotlight the action underway to support the agenda and accelerate, scale and finance ocean action.
