Today October 15 is international day of rural women. Locally the day is being celebrated under the theme ‘Building Rural Women’s Resilience in the Wake of COVID-19’. The day’s activities are geared towards highlighting the critical role and contribution of rural women in sustaining the livelihood of their families, their communities, and all Jamaicans.
