True sustainability has long been elusive for the ocean. It’s time to act. As we head into a new year and pivotal decade, the Ocean Panel’s 14 serving world leaders have united to launch a new ocean action agenda on 2 December. Follow the global launch and join the conversation via @OceanPanel on Twitter using #SustainableOceanEconomy. Beginning 3 December (local time), Ocean Panel countries will host a series of national launch events to signify and build global political will around their commitments. Jamaica will be sharing its country-specific plans and discussing priority actions to transform how the world can protect and use the ocean and ultimately sustainably manage humanity’s impacts on it.
