@Aug 29 2024 03:02 PM
The Jamaica Customs Agency (JCA) is proud to host its Annual Anti-Corruption Panel Discussion and Luncheon at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel. This year’s theme "Ethical Leadership: The Impact on Cross Border Trade, Supply Chain, and Trade Facilitation," the forum will focus on the crucial role of integrity within the customs and trade environment. As part of the JCA’s ongoing initiative to enhance its anti-corruption and integrity programme, the agency is aligning itself with international best practices to promote transparency and accountability.
Recognising that maintaining integrity is a shared responsibility, the JCA has made it a priority to engage with industry players to identify solutions to challenges affecting the supply chain. The discussion will highlight the impact of ethical leadership in combating corruption, encouraging transparent practices, and overcoming barriers to integrity. The event will feature distinguished panellists who will share their expertise and insights on combating corruption through ethical leadership and transparent practices. Through collaborative discussions and focus on best practices, this forum aims to foster a culture of accountability and drive meaningful change within the Customs and the business environment.
