Minister of Labour and Social Security, Hon. Pearnel Charles Jr., provided an overview of the damages he witnessed during his tour yesterday (July 6) of south Clarendon, particularly in the communities of Rocky Point, Portland Cottage, and Mitchell Town. These areas were severely impacted not only by Hurricane Beryl but also by the recent heavy rainfall caused by the Tropical Wave. Minister Charles stated that residents will receive immediate relief in the form of food packages, blankets, tarpaulins, hygiene kits, and other assistance for the elderly, disabled, and those who are alone. #jamaica #hurricaneberyl
