Our panellists are IADB representatives, Diether Beuermann, and Moises Schwartz who have completed rigorous research that shows how resilient institutions are the underpinning of prosperous societies and communities. They draw on international experiences and successes to highlight how strong organisations improve Caribbean people's lives and livelihoods by strengthening tax administration, fiscal management, and pension schemes while promoting transparency in their operations. Former Governor of the Bank of Jamaica, Brian Wynter, is our third panellist. Mr. Wynter was pivotal in negotiating his country’s most recent IMF programme that resulted in establishing fiscal and other oversight institutions to ensure that Jamaicans stay the course.
